Oliver Matz, Dancer-Laureate of the German State Opera Berlin,
served as Chair of the Department of Dance at the Zurich School of Music,
Drama and Dance (HMZ) from 2004 to 2007. Following his recent appointment as Director of Dance Studies within the newly established ZHdK Department of Performing Arts and Film, Steffi Scherzer has been appointed as the new Director of the Zurich Dance Academy (Tanz Akademie Zürich, taZ). Steffi Scherzer is an acclaimed Prima Ballerina of the German State Opera Berlin. Her master classes have nurtured outstanding talents for several years.
