Lara Radda, taZ ballet faculty member, to serve as expert at the next Stage Dance Professions Advisory and Information Day, to be held at the Musical Factory, Lucerne on 17th January 2010
Whether it be ballet, jazz dance, hip hop, tango, flamenco or salsa, ever more dance enthusiasts are discovering in dance a harmonious connection between a physical challenge and personal creativity.
It is thus hardly astonishing that a growing number of young people are expressing the desire to become professional dancers. However, few people are on hand to provide expert advice about stage dance training. There is a thirst for information among both young dance enthusiasts as well as their parents.
Supported by Migros Kulturprozent, Dance Suisse, the Swiss professional dance association, will therefore continue to host its Advisory and Information Day in order to provide relevant information and an opportunity to assess individual aptitude.
The event offers prospective students from the age of eleven interested in becoming professional dancers individual talent assessment and personal advice. A team comprising proven dance experts, including Lara Radda, taZ faculty member, and a medical expert will be on hand to assess individual aptitude with a view to a stage dance career and to discuss such prospects with prospective students and their parents.
